Can I setup a monitor or a second screen?

For our Permanent and Private Office members then yes, you can do whatever you like at your private spaces. We do not allow for monitor setups at our open shared tables and if a member needs a second screen they would need to consider upgrading to The Permanent membership, based on availability.

Really?! A month-to-month agreement?

Yes. Our flexible month-to-month commitment provides you with the stability of an office or desk space along with the flexibility you need to grow your business.

What does a private office include?

Furniture

Your office includes a desk and ergonomic chairs. For some, that’s all they need. You’re also welcome to bring in additional or alternate furniture. Let us know if you intend to make changes to the setup and we’ll help make it happen.

Super fast, reliable internet

Your office has both hard-wired (ethernet) connections along with access to WiFi.

Meeting room time

Your office comes with 12 credits per month for meeting room bookings.

Member network

Connect with other members in person or through our online community. Ask questions, share stories, announce product launches and other good news, invite others to events, promote your job listings or simply find someone to grab a beer with. It’s a great way to start meaningful relationships with creative entrepreneurs and business leaders.

Prints / copies / scanning

Each location has a multi-function copier/scanner/printer that can be used for minimal printing at no extra cost.

Utilities / tax

Your membership fee includes utilities, but GST is not included in the price.

Can I stop in or should I make an appointment?

Tours are scheduled in advance. Please do not show up without scheduled a tour beforehand. This will ensure our availability and helps our team focus on helping you choose the right space. Do all of the agreements begin on the 1st of the month?

All private office agreements start the beginning of the month. Our 30 day move out policy requires move out on the last day of the month allowing the new member a 1st of the month move in. Individual monthly memberships start any day of the month and will recur on that day each month.

What if I'm looking for an office more than 30 days in the future?

Our 30-day move out policy allows us to know availability a month before move in time. Example: Someone might give notice to move out August 31st. This office can then be reserved for someone new to move in September 1st. You may be added to the Waiting List for an upcoming office within your time frame.

What if my company needs phone service?

If your team has VOIP phone service that you’d like to maintain, simply plug into the ethernet ports provided in your office at no additional fee. We have no landline phone hookups in our offices.

What is the average square footage of a private office?

This varies a fair bit by office. We measure the offices by desk space with more than enough room for a team to work comfortably. Schedule a tour to check it out for yourself!

What is the difference between the memberships?

The Casual 5 and 10 and The Regular are ‘hot-desk’ memberships, which is an unassigned desk in a large open shared workspace area. Seats are first come first serve. Phone calls must be made in phone booths or meeting rooms and personal items must be taken home at the end of the day. The Permanent is an assigned desk in an open shared workspace area. This dedicated space comes with drawers for storage of your personal belongings. Desktops/monitors may be set up and left overnight. Phone booths are available for phone calls. A Private Office is a fully enclosed, lockable space built for a team of 1-8 people.

What are the building hours? When are you open?

Our Permanent members and private office members all have 24/7 keycard access. All other members adhere to 9am to 5pm entry with the ability to stay later – depending on location. Contact us for more specifics on this policy.

Am I allowed to bring my dog? What's your pet policy?

Pets are conditionally allowed under the discretion of Suite Genius and the building owner. Pets must be clean, well behaved and not leave a mess or the building management or Suite Genius has the right to ask them to be removed from the premises. Happy pets = happy members!

I'm ready to sign up. What are my payment options?

Individual memberships can be paid by Pre-Authorized Debit or Credit Card. For private office memberships we only accept Pre-Authorized Debit. All memberships recur monthly.

When do we have to let Suite Genius know we're moving out?

Hot-desking and Permanent desk members need to give us 30 days notice. Private Office members need to give us 2 month's notice to move out.
